Whirly's 5 Tips to Up Your Spy

You have painstakingly avoided bumping into any enemy REDs. You have successfully entered their base and start to move up to their sniper decks. Without a second thought, you gleefully uncloak and click on the backstab button.ZAP! You’re stunned! What the-?! Turns out that Sniper has a Razorback and you’re stunned for now. Just your luck that Pyro had to choose that time to come in and kick your French butt.
Tired of getting repeatedly killed as Spy? Well! Look no longer, Mr. Whirly here’s gonna teach you 5 tips on making your Spy experience THAT much better.

1.Shoot Razorback Snipers

Snipers who are tired of getting their sore backs stabbed have turned to the Razorback as a solution. It is a wooden shield to block him from ONE single backstab and stun said Spy.Tip to avoid getting stunned? Simple, shoot him with your revolver. Valve did not add the revolver there for decoration purposes. Shoot that sorry dude.

2.Don’t fight if you’re not sure you can win
Seriously, if you don’t think you can win, then just don’t blow your disguise. Trying to sap that sentry nest with two Engies, a Pyro and half the TEAM there guarding it ? Don’t even bother. You’re not James Bond. Waste your disguise on something that is worth it.
3.Avoid Pyros.AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Those psychopathic fire-retardant mute arsonists are like the plague for a Spy. Do yourself a favour and JUST AVOID THEM ! Nobody’s going to call you a coward for doing it nor are you going to get VAC banned so just run away.

4.Shoot chasing foes with your revolver
Like Tip 1 said, the revolver was not intended as a decoration. It is useful, use it whenever  you have to break your way out. Surprisingly, it is fairly accurate and does a decent amount of damage for a handgun.

5.Trick them, your called a Spy for a reason
Whenever your disguise is blown and your chased, you can utilize your invisibility watch(unless it’s Dead Ringer, then just pull it out, feign death and run).Turn around a corner, cloak and head off to another. Just make sure not to bump into your assailant and you’ll be leaving without a scratch while your chaser is hunting down a non-existent Spy. Apart from being a livesaver, it is also highly amusing.
Hopefully, you’ll have learned something and hopefully you’ll be a better Spy in the making. If not...well....there’s always a thousand other guides on the Internet.
